Atharv's first Raksha Bandhan

Rakhi symbolizes the special bond that brother and sister share; close by or far awayAtharv's first Rakhi was quite nice. He had received rakhi from his elder sister, Tara (in Bangalore). Tara sent a very cute letter to Atharv on Rakhi along with small carboard books, a pair of Jeans, Small rubber bath tub. Atharv received all these gifts in advance.
For Tara, when I went to Bangalore I carried lots of gifts for Tara on behalf of Atharv - Cute dresses, one painting kit and one customised Cindrella story book for Tara.
On the day of Rakhi, I, on behalf of Tara did the ritual. Atharv ki arti uthari, Tika kiya, Besan ka laddu khilaya aur Atharv ko Tara didi ki Rakhi pehnayi. Atharv was enjoying every bit of it.
Check out Atharv's Kunfu Panda Rakhi which i picked up from Shoppers Stop. Isn't it cool?
We kept the Rakhi on Atharv's wrist till Janmasthmi.
