Veggie Lover

The other day when I came back from office, Aayi was cutting string beans and Atharv was playing. I took bunch of string beans from Aayi and hand it over to Atharv. Check it out in these snaps. My best pic is where Atharv is holding single bean horizontally straight.

My heart ached

Today I came back from office and met Atharv and his grandmom downstairs where kids were playing. Atharv was so busy watching the kids, cars and greenery around that he ignored me completely. We didnt even had an eye contact.

I really really felt bad. I any which ways miss him when I am in office. I try and spend maximum time with him. Thats why my mom makes sure that I come from office, he hands over Atharv to me completely.

I just don't understand why life is so much more unfair for some people than others.

Rollin Rollin n Rollin

Atharv's strong neck and arm muscles allow him to practice rolling over toward one side to other side, a milestone that has amused us. He has adopted rolling as his primary mode of ground transportation for a while. He is continuing to gain new skills and shows interest in getting around and exploring his environment. Rolling over is so much fun for him. He just keeps rolling again and again. We can't just leave him unattended at any time.

At this age, Atharv not only tolerates attention from others, he often initiates it. He needs and craves lots of love and attention from us. Atharv is also learning that his behaviors, both, the ones we like and the ones we don't, engage us. He does anything and everything to get our attention. Right now almost everything he does is endearing. Atharv is beginning to expand his attention-getting repertoire to include more than crying. We also notice him wriggling, making noises, blowing etc.

Like Father Like Son

Bade Chachu

Finally Atharv's Rajat Chachu visited us and it was so much fun. He got so many toys for Atharv and clothes too. Atharv loved the damroo red coloured toy. He was so busy playing with his toy that he refused to look at us. We all had great time. Bhai discussed Tara's sharats.

Just waiting for the day when the brother and sister will meet each other.

The same evening we went for Komal's wedding. Atharv was little low because of cold and fever at the wedding. But the moment we got in the car suddenly Atharv got all charged up and started dancing in my lap. For the first time ever, I felt that Atharv was uncontrollable. He was just jumping and screaming so loud.

He did so much of masti that he puked on me twice so much so that I was drenched in his puke. But the good part of the whole sad thing was his mucous came out and he was fine.

Atharv loves spending time with Chetan. Whenever he comes from office, he gives him a broad smile and keep screaming in excitment. He just jumps to go in his arms and forgets everybody around.

Atharv completes 6 months

The day you were born was the best day of my life. It was such a wonderful experience carrying you inside me. I thank God everyday for giving me such a perfect, beautiful, and healthy little baby. I look forward to watching you grow into a man and I hope I will guide you on the right paths. Your Papa and I still can't believe that we really have you. It feels like a wonderful dream. I will always love you no matter what and will always be here when you need me.
I love you with all my heart and soul.

I take this opportunity to thank Aayi for being with us when we need her the most. She has done enough for me all my life and she is continuing to do so by taking care of Atharv under her watchful eye.

She is really taking great care of Atharv. When I am busy at office, I don’t have to worry about him. I would like to thank Aayi for spending her valuable time with us; by scarifying her social life.

On the mother’s day, I would like to apologies her for all my mistakes and mischief that I did when I was young. I would like to apologies in case I had ever hurt her.
But at the same time, I want to thank you for not giving up on me and making me the person whom I am today.

PURRRRR

Today Atharv did something very funny. He filled mouth with air and did blew it up like PURRRRRRRRRRRRR! The entire day he kept doing PURRRRRRRRR.. His saliva was spraying on our face and we were almost dead by laughing.

While crying also he used to remember to do purrrrr with tear in his eyes and sad look. He looks so adorable when he does that. Ayi goes biserk laughing at him when he does that. My chotu motu baby MUaaahhhhh!

Atharv got fever

Sumit left for Nashik at 4:30 in the morning. I had to get up early to cook, clean and scrub since maid had left us convinently.
I was very busy the entire day doing household chores. I didn't sleep the whole night and had to work during the. Finally in the night I decided to sleep by 11:00pm. Suddenly at 1.30am when I touched Atharv U realised that he had fever. Chetan, Ayi and I was awake the whole night since he was also bit cranky. Finally we gave him crocin syrup and he went off to sleep peaceful. In the morning, we realised he had cough as well.

Chetan and Ayi took him to the doctor. Bacchu had viral fever. He stop eating properly. He became very calm and was no kicking legs like he always does. My heart used to break whenI used to see him like this.

I just pray to god that his immune system become better day by day. I love Atharv so much, cant see him in pain.

Sumit Chachu from Delhi

Chetan's friend Sumit visited us today from Delhi. He was very happy to see Atharv, played with him for hours. We were almost awake the entire night talking to sumit and discussing the shopping that husbands (Sumit & Chetan) did for thier wives.

We really feel nice when someone comes to our place from so far just to see our little baby.
We couldnt take pictures with him though.
