Ganesh Chaturthi

This year for Ganesh Chaturthi, we all visited to my Masi's place. The place is almost in midst of a jungle. A hugeeee house, loving people, house full of 30 people, oh what fun! I was very excited to take Atharv. So we reached in the afternoon, met everybody. All my cousins, their respetive hubbys, wifys and kids. Atharv was super thrilled. He was just running around from one corner of the house to the other.

Then our junior saw hens, cocks and chicken in the backyard. He chased them for almost three hours (bare feet). With his little stool, he was running after them and they were running for thier lives. Everybody was so happy to watch Atharv.

Later in the evening, he was amazed by a dolak and he kept playing with it for hours. He used to call me from kitchen just to showcase his skills. My boy, I love you so much.

Next day morning was like competition of taking bath amongst 30 odd people. We all woke up at 5am for Ganapati puja and also to make sure the bathroom is available. All kids took bath in the open. Attached are some random pix. Enjoy Maadi!

Atharv sorry for putting these pix on the blog...But you are looking gorgeous my dear! MUAAAHHH!

William D Tammeus says

You don't really understand human nature unless you know why a child on a merry-go-round will wave at his parents every time around - and why his parents will always wave back.

Atharv's first ever complaint from School

Its 9:10am, I am already at work. Juggling between briefing team and understanding their tasks for the day. My direct number rings. Chetan is on other side of the line, worried, hassled and with formal tone, he asks, I need two minutes of yours. Its urgent. I ask my team members to leave and I continue with the call.
He starts: Do you what your son has done yesterday in the school? I am totally blank and I say, NO. He replies: Atharv has bitten a girl's cheek in the school. The moment I heard that I burst out laughing and I said, How cute? Imagine my little Romeo has bitten a girl's cheek.
Chetan gets serious and said if he goes on bitting girls like this, the school will throw Atharv out .NOW thats a over reaction by a concerened father. On the other side of the line, I was still laughing. I kinda felt it was cute.
The investigations revealed that Atharv was super excited with the song "Gadi Ayi,Gadi Ayi", in his excitement, he bite the girl. :-) :-)
Atharv is his teachers' pet. They keep talking about him all the time. He participates actively in all activities at School. When he reaches his school, he hugs all his teachers.

My baby

The feeling to see your child grow is such an unique feelingn especially if the child is like Atharv. He is so cool and chilled out. Always happy, extremly understanding, fast learner huggable and lovable. Now he has started understanding smallest of things that we discuss. He has started immittating us big time. He immitates his dadu, dadi, papa and also mumma.
