Atharv's bday

10 Nov is a very special day of my life. It’s my rebirth and Atharv's birthday. We wanted to celebrate Atharv's 3rd birthday in a very special way and hence both Chetan and I were on leave for two weeks to ensure everything is planned and executed well. As usual, we had planned for Satyanarayan Puja for Atharv and invited few friends and handful of relatives on the same day. We cut Atharv's cake at his day care (Brainworks) on the same day. Pictures are below.

On Saturday, 12th November 2011 we invited around 30 people (including kids) at a 5 star venue closer to our home - Grand Sarovar Premier. Two cakes were ordered for the celebration: Spiderman and Kung fu Panda since these are Atharv's favourite characters.

At the venue, we welcomed the guests and kids with party caps and welcome drinks, followed by some fun and endless spread of lunch which had Indian, Chinese, Continental and Italian food with huge spread of salads and soups. Baccha party attacked the dessert counter followed by cushions, flowers and other decoration of the hotel. All of them were running, screaming, dancing, laughing, it was fantastic to watch them all. Parents were busy chit chatting and enjoying the food. Like a good host both Chetan and I were busy checking if everybody was fine and enjoying the party. After the luxury lunch came Atharv's cake. Now, this was the best part, we got new candles which looked like Anar (firecracker which we light during Diwali). When I lit it kids went berserk.

Atharv got loads of blessings and gifts. As a returned gift Atharv presented them each one of them a huge bubble wand.

We were very happy to see that everyone went home happy and people appreciated the arrangements.

We loved to see Atharv spent good time with his friends and had lovely Birthday.

Happy ki Happy Family
