Holiiiiiii Haiiiii!

There was a naughty boy,

A naughty boy was he,
He would not stop at home,
He could not quiet be-

This is excatly how Atharv was on the day of Holi.

When Atharv woke up, I coloured him with gulal. With confused look he was starring at me, may be thinking why is my mom colouring me. When we started wishing each other with colour, then he started screaming and laughing around.

At around 11:00 am Chetan and Atharv went down stairs with to play holi along with Mummy. Papa and I was gaurding the home when soldiers were out on the colour war.

When they returned (after playing for hours), Atharv was totally smitten with his two picharis in hand.

It was reaallllyy a fun filled holi for Atharv. Did manage to click some pix not all. Take a look.

Atharv's Annual Day at Tree House

Bas lagta hai kal hi ki toh baat hai, key Atharv was born. And today morning, we were all getting ready for Atharv's annual day. We collected his costume two days prior to the annual day (5th March 2011) from his school.

When we saw the costume, we were super thrilled. It was a longish black and golden jacket with lovely golden and black shiney turban which has red brooch on it. Then we realized that the jacket is actually a overcoat and then the hunt began for golden T-shirt. We managed to get something for Atharv to wear it inside.

On the D-day, we had absolutely no clue what Atharv was going to perform. At the Thakur Auditorium when we reached, we noticed lot few boys were wearing similar costume. Lot of girls and boys were wearing theme dresses, hence the conclusion that they might be doing something in group.

When we were handing over Atharv to his teacher, she suddenly says, Atharv will not wear the T-shirt inside. Just the trouser, over coat jacket and turban. We were again thrilled and excited to know, yaar ho kya raha hai?

Then the performance began and then our son came along with 10 girls and guys to perform “Singh is King” title song, with a prop. I can’t believe my eyes that a two year 4 months toddler can perform so well. He danced with the group. My eyes were all teary and I was jumping on my seat and telling the person sitting next to me pointed at the stage saying. “Hey that’s my son”. What a proud moment it was for both Chetan and me. This was Atharv’s second performance on stage in a span of 10 months. Last one minute Atharv got distracted with the moving camera and he started staring at the camera.
But overall a super duper performance. We love you RV. Muuaaahh
